These guys are a joke, They work out of a shed in a trailer park!
Anyone who runs around saying things like "I 'am the king of drive and swing" needs
to be avoided at all costs. Unfortunately Mack43 didn't heed my warning and wound up
with a RCI-2950 that only worked for a few days (and poorly at that), that they wouldn't warranty.
Mack also had sent his Galaxy dx55v and they sent him someone else's radio! They didn't
do him right on that one either.

Mack sent his RCI-2950 to FGBEST Communications and this is the receipt they sent him.
Look closely at the description on the bottom of the invoice.

Both of these clowns are blacklisted from buying and selling on the WorldWideDx forum.

The "Rolling Tune" what a fucking joke. Just a resistor and diode on most radios if you are lucky.
Sells everyone on the bullshit that your radio is cleaner if you don't remove parts of the amc,
then just jacks the VR wide open.

That glass diode just cost you $50! Talk about a mark-up.

I had a buddy who bought a Stryker radio from this asshole.
THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT!
This radio was damaged BEFORE it was packed! The shipping box was very large and
well packed. It arrived completely square and undamaged.

Believe it or not, I suggested he get the radio from Rolling. Out of all the assholes out there
he would be my pick of who to get a radio from. He will not butcher the fucking thing.

AMC jacked wide open and whatever that fucking horseshoe diode/resistor thing he did.
(PPE mod) The radio actually sounds and works well.

Luckily the way the nuts stick out of the chassis, only the cover got bent.
One reason he gets on the scumbags list is he lies to all these fools and claims he
is shipping out CLEAN radios. Jacking the AMC all the way up disables it.

He is not really a bad guy, Just trying to make a few extra bucks.
You know Bill, if you just came out and told the truth you would get some respect.

Just another run of the mill cb shop. Hacking up export radios is his specialty.
I have heard many people bragging about how good Earls work is, the words "Swing kit"
make me cringe. So I finally get my hands on one of his famous Connex 3300 - 10m radios.

I have heard the guy a few times and his audio always sounded blown the fuck out. You could
barely understand him, after opening the radio.. I can see why.

TR53 removed
TR32 brutally cut from the board and parts in that area abused to get the cutters in.
R249 cut
R246 cut and soldered back together (must be some secret tuning technique)
R238 changed to a 390k resistor (should be 5.6k)
Carrier set to 4.5w on low power swings to around 8w
Carrier set to 8w on high power swings to 8.5w

When the mic gain is set to anywhere the audio is "sort of" understandable it has barely any forward
average power at all. This guy should be flipping burgers, not working on radios.

People pay money for this crap? Look at these pics!

Radio was a Connex 4300 hp, owned by Triple 6 - NJ.

Basically the only thing done was to unsolder TR-32.
Low carrier set at 5w swinging to 8w
High Carrier set at 12.5w swinging backwards to 9.5w

Since he had the time to take off the back cover and unsolder TR-32, Why didn't he
touch up the nasty cold solder joints from the factory? TR-51 has a really bad joint on the right leg.

First, lets fuck with the final and driver a bit. Look at the red dots. From left to right.
Above the first red dot is a small resistor on the final. To the right of the second dot is
a small resistor on the driver. These guys work hard to really make sure you are smoking!

The guy who bought this radio was told not to try and talk on it! It's a keydown radio.
You have to be kidding me!! Just what you need a 12 second radio!

Now here is a good one. Why are they sanding off the markings on these transistors?
Must be some super secret shit they are hiding. I'm sure no real tech will ever be able to figure
out what the hell they are doing (fucking up your radios).

Um.. what the fuck do I see??? cap, diode and yet another cap on the transistor for the variable power??

RADIO ACTIVE RADIOS

Located somewhere in Oregon according to the phone number on the web site.

Here is SAMIAM's Connex 4600 turbo. He bought this radio from Mike at RA to run into a straight 4 pill.
Complaints were distorted and low audio and "not getting out".

I offered to look at his radio, with no promises if I could fix it. Ra has a reputation for really fucking up radios.

It came with stickers on both sides of the radio, covering the screws in the rear.
One Said "SUPER WACK PACK" the other said "TAMPERING VOIDS WARRANTY"

Once I opened the radio, it was easy to see what the problem was:

Test point jumpers CUT off the board (they feed voltage to the driver and final transistors)
Glass diode soldered across C189
Wires soldered all over the back of the board (Volting the final)
AMC VR pot turned a bit back from max to try and compensate for this fucked up mod.
Absolutely no linearity whatsoever!

Showed big watts on a meter, too it was mostly harmonics and everything was severely overdriven.

Customer has the receipt from your shop along with your explanation of what the "SUPER WACK PACK" is.

This is a sticker from another RA radio that was butchered, belonged to GREEN HORN.

Look close, See what is left of the test point jumpers in the top of the red circles?
